ABOUT

Low Budget Sketch Show is an online sketch comedy show. Each episode is five minutes long and contains a variety of sketches about the hardships of life.

The show was created by Jorja Hudson, alongside a collection of writers, performers and students who met at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City.

Low Budget Sketch Show is built on a DIY attitude, a passion for sketch comedy and zero Kickstarters.

The show ran for two seasons and a Christmas special, from 2014 - 2016.

Ethan is a comedy writer and filmmaker in New York City. He is a headline contributor for ClickHole and his written work has appeared on Funny or Die, College Humor, Internet Action Force, and more. His pilot script, The Relief Effort, was a finalist in the 2019 Yes And Laughter Lab, a Comedy Central-sponsored initiative for projects with social justice themes. Michael Wolf

Michael Wolf is a comedian, writer, and director living New York City. His work can be seen on Comedy Central, MTV, and IFC - including his new sketch series ‘Someone’s In Here’ available on all Comedy Central platforms. You can also regularly see him at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater with his super fast sketch group OSFUG the first Monday of every month and his literary show ‘How to Write a Book: THE PLAY’ written and performed by Colin O’Brien and himself. He also produces and hosts Literati  a monthly live show at Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn where you can see some of New York’s greatest comedians read hilarious works. He has also written and produced on MTV’s Teen Wolf After After Show and TRL, as well as film projects for Spike, IFC, Above Average and College Humor. He is one of America’s best dancers if you only count passion.

Emily Hughston Hoffman

Emily is an art director, writer and visual artist in Brooklyn New York. She is a graduate of the MFA Visual Narrative program at SVA where she wrote and designed the pop-up book, Dogmatic. She studied improv and sketch comedy and The Upright Citizens Brigade and has contributed professionally to Saturday Night Live, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Americans.
